Solstice Green Health & Wellness was started to provide Virginia Medical Card certifications to the residents of the State of Virginia in 2021.  The major push to do this was to provide people with safe access to cannabis and allow them to choose to treat their illness with plant medicine if they wish to use it has an adjunct.  This final push for me to begin this was learning from my first patient how much benefit they obtained from cannabis to treat their medical condition, and the lengths they had to go through to get cannabis.  

I have had an extensive career in healthcare working in EMS, nursing, and as a Nurse Practitioner totaling over 25 years.  This career has allowed me the opportunity to treat many patients with many different conditions and problems.  

I believe people can safely use cannabis to help with certain conditions.  I am also a firm believer in education and strive to make sure my patients have all of their questions answered. I never encourage people to eliminate their current treatment regimen, and I always suggest you maintain a relationship with your physician.   

I am a Nurse Practitioner Licensed jointly by the Board of Nursing and Board of Medicine in the State of Virginia, and I am registered with the Board of Pharmacy to provide written certifications for cannabis in Virginia.  I am a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Association of Cannabinoid Specialists.
